Silverstone
This is the circuit that every driver wants to tick off on their track day list. However, I've known people come away a little underwhelmed, as a circuit designed for 900BHP F1 cars can seem a little too spacious for a Caterham or hot hatch.
There are also numerous variations to consider. Ranging from the Stowe circuit (which uses the runways inside the GP circuit and no part of the main track), the National circuit, which is an uninspiring triangle using the top half of the track, the International Circuit (which gets as far as Becketts before taking a short cut to Abbey) and the daddy of them all - the GP Circuit.
The GP circuit is worth booking up for. Even better, but harder to find dates for is the Historic Circuit. This uses the GP circuit, but bypasses the walking pace chicanes at Vale and Abbey and has much of the flowing character of the classic original Silverstone.
