Brands Hatch

Brands Hatch is the classic major UK circuit, and despite not holding a Grand Prix since 1986, it still is one of the most renowned circuits in the world. In fact, losing the GP was probably a blessing, because the redevelopment necessary would have undoubtedly spoiled the challenge of the original circuit.

This guide focuses on the Indy circuit (named after the visiting Indycar circus in 1978), rather than the rarely used GP circuit. This is the best circuit in Britain for spectating, and one of the best for driving. The 1.2 miles may be short, but they are sweet.
